The New American Home® 2004 (TNAH 2004), located at the Lakes at West Sahara, is the official show home of the International Builders' Show® for the year 2004. This project is co-sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders' National Council of the Housing Industry (NCHI) and Hanley-Wood's Builder Magazine. TNAH 2004 was designed by The Hague-based office Thomas Alexander Design & Development, and built by Las Vegas-based builder Merlin Contracting & Developing.

In honor of the exhibit, a reception entitled A Design-guided Culture: Reflections by Peter Bilak will be held on Jannuary 29, 2004, 6-9pm at College for Creative Studies campus, in the Walter B Ford II Auditorium. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Tickets $5 for members, $10 for non-members, students free.
