Mischa
Vos (MVOS) presented at the 18th International Contemporary
Furniture Fair - Booth North Concourse
Mischa Vos
was born in 1970. He studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven
(1989-1996) and founded MVOS (Mischa Vos Ontwerp Studio) in
Amsterdam in 1999. His work is characterized by a clear language
and strong forms. He strives to stimulate a relation between
elements and/or forms, which leads to constructions that can
be seen as clever because of its simplicity and clarity. Vos
also humorously questions the functionality of existing products,
leading to a cartoonish engagement. His work has been widely
exhibited in The Netherlands, Antwerp, Frankfurt, Cologne, Bern,
Milan, Tokyo, Taiwan and Montreal.
