Orange Alert: Dutch Design in New York 2005
An unprecedented year of high-profile events and exhibitions throughout New York City

Dear Reader:

We hope that you enjoyed your Summer and welcome you back to the beginning of the season in New York City! It looks like it will prove to be a exciting period with yet again a large number of wonderful Dutch design events and projects. On September 7, 2005 the highly anticipated "Dutch at the Edge of Design" exhibition will open at the Museum at FIT. Orange Alert Dutch Design and the Consulate General of the Netherlands are proudly supporting the exhibition, and will join the museum in making the opening reception a memorable event.

In the days and weeks following, among others, there will be the first ever solo exhibition by Claudy Jongstra in the U.S. at Moss Gallery, and starting on September 9, there will be a week long series of Dutch fashion events to take place alongside Olympus Fashion Week.

Below you can find a complete overview of the many exciting events and projects that will take place. For additional and up to date information, please visit www.dutchdesignevents.com.

We hope you will enjoy all these events and look forward to seeing you there!

Best regards,
Robert Kloos, Editor
