About
Petra Blaisse
Blaisse designs interiors, gardens and landscapes. A hallmark of her work
is its manipulation of conventional relationships between inside and outside
and the relationships established between interior, architecture and landscape.
According to MoMA curator Terence Riley, Blaisse "is reinvigorating
two things that are traditionally considered women's domains--curtains
and gardens--by infusing them with unexpected materials and a poet's sense
of metaphor and sensuality."
